Vanda cristata is a medium sized cold to warm growing species originates from the mountain forests of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet and can be found growing on moss covered trees at altitudes of 600 to 2300 meters. Whilst it can take some full sun, some shading is recommended. Do not allow media to dry. The flowers are up to 5cm in size and are fragrant.
