The parents of this cross are Cym. Camouflage Candy 'DT6' and Cym. Red Sox 'Black Fire'. This cross was registered in the name of a charity dear to Susan's heart, the naming was approved by the Sweet Louise charity. This charity supports people with incurable breast cancer and is fundraising during October, Breast Cancer Awareness month. $5 from the sale of each plant will go towards the 2026 fundraising efforts.

Cymbidium Sweet Louise will give a stunning large bloom with a range of dark pink to red…grand-parentage ranges into burgundy…a real show stopper. Pink and red are the colours for the Sweet Louise charity.
What you will eventually see flowering will be a blending of the two parents. In some cases we are able to provide you with a photo of the progeny, however, please bear in mind that variations in colour, etc. are expected with seedling crosses.
The photo shown on each available variant is indicative of the size of the plant that you will receive. Size B plants can be expected to reach flowering size in 3-4 years. Please check carefully when selecting options to avoid “size surprise”.
Cymbidium Orchids, sometimes known as Boat Orchids, are a tolerant, easy to grow Orchid with intermediate to large flowers, often with a full, luscious lip. Grown outdoors in cool to intermediate conditions, they are fond of dappled light under trees to avoid the heat of the full sun. What you will eventually see flowering will be a blending of the two parents.
