Nepenthes or pitcher plants are a genus of evergreen, mostly epiphytic, insectivorous perennials. Their leaves are adapted to form pendulous, lidded, coloured pitchers that trap and digest insects
Grow in warm temperatures (min 15C) and with bright, indirect light. Keep the medium moist with filtered water. DO NOT fertilise the plant - the plant feeds off trapped insects. Repot in spring using well draining, moisture retaining mix.
Potted in a 9cm pot. Ceramic cover pot is included.
