Stan. inodora
Stanhopea inodora originates from Mexico and Nicaragua and has showy fragrant flowers. Grow this species in dappled to bright indirect light conditions. Cool to hot temperature and 75%-80% humidity. Water should be reduced in winter, but don’t allow to dry excessively or remain dry for long periods. It is best grown in the mesh hanging baskets lined with sphagnum moss and filled with an open, fast draining medium or mounted on a slab to accommodate the pendent inflorescence that emerges from the base of the plant. It's name means The Odorless Stanhopea - a misnomer as it does smell. This orchid flowers in summer and autumn with clusters of 3 to 5 blooms measuring about 11cm across.
