Renanthera monachica
$40.00
B (Up to 6 months old)
Found in the Philippines at altitudes up to 500 metres, this intriguing epiphyte loves the warmth. Grow with minimum temperatures of at least 15 degrees Celcius and with bright indirect light. This treasure, commonly called a Spanish Dancing Girl Renathera (I wonder why?), likes to be grown in a hanging basket, in a chunky mix with all the roots exposed - much like a Vanda. Once it reaches blooming size (from about 15cm tall) you can expect between 15 and 115 3-5cm blooms per flower spike!
